CZECH REPUBLIC – 9 days
Journey into the Czech Republic and discover the wonders of its capital, and largest city Prague which is located in the north west of the country on the Vltava River. Explore this amazing city with our arranged guide. Leaving Prague we then move on through the famous spa town of Marianske Lazne in the Krlovy Vary Region surrounded by green mountains to the beautiful city of Wurzburg located at the northern tip of Bavaria at the end of the Romantic road which winds its way through the Tauber Valley.

Itinerary
Day 1: Travel via Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais and then on for dinner and an overnight stay near Lille.
Day 2: A pleasant days’ drive into Germany and the famous Rhine Valley. Overnight at Bingen
Day 3: Travel through Germany and into the Czech Republic for a three night stay at the Park Inn hotel in Prague.
Day 4: A day in Prague where we have arranged a guide for morning sightseeing. The many sites include Prague Castle, Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge.
Day 5: A full day excursion to the UNESCO city of Kutna Hora, once one of Europe’s most important royal towns. Its wealth came from silver mining and the preserved centre has wonderful historic sites. A visit to the Ossuary, or ‘bone Church’, is a highlight for many.
Day 6: Leave Prague with time at leisure in the Bohemian spa town of Marianske Lazne. In the afternoon proceed to Würzburg for a 2 night stay at the Novotel.
Day 7: Würzburg lies on Germany’s Romantic Road. Spend a day exploring the old town. Highlights include St Kilian Cathedral and the former Princebishop’s Residence.
Day 8: Through Germany, past Aachen and on to Belgium for dinner and an overnight stay near Ghent.
Day 9: Homeward journey via Eurotunnel to Folkestone and home.
