Itinerary

Day 1: Outward journey via Eurotunnel to Metz for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Continue to Lake Garda and spend 6 nights at the Hotel Sole Riva Del Garda.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Riva Del Garda.
Day 4: A full day to Verona one of the most romantic cities in the world and the setting of Shakespeare’s plays ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘The two Gentlemen of Verona’, located between Milan and Venice. Magnificent Roman ruins, Renaissance  buildings and the Cupulet house with Juliet’s famed balcony are all tourist attractions.
Day 5: A full day to Venice where you will have the opportunity to take the waterbus and sail to St Mark’s Square (fare included). As you travel along Venice’s Grand Canal, you will see what life is like in a city without automobiles.
Day 6: An early start for a long day tour to the Dolomites passing through some of the most magnificent scenery in Europe which has inspired comments that this day alone is worth the journey to Italy. Travel via Bolzano, Costalunga Pass, Lake Carezza and Pass del Pordoi where time is available for sightseeing. Then via the Sella Pass with its awe inspiring spectacle of mountain scenery.
Day 7: Day of leisure in Riva Del Garda.
Day 8: Start the homeward journey travelling to Reims for an overnight stay.
Day 9: After an early breakfast, continue via Eurotunnel, arriving home early evening.
