Itinerary
Day 1: Outward journey via Eurotunnel to St Quentin for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Continue to Flueli Ranft in Switzerland and spend 6 nights at the Hotel Paxmontana.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Flueli.
Day 4: An excursion to Interlaken, the main resort of the Bernese Oberland and also one of the most visited. As its name implies, the town is situated between lakes Thun and Brienz. Discover the spectacular views of the Jungfrau Eiger and Monch mountains.
Day 5: A visit to Altdord, the home of William Tell, commemorated by a statue which marks the spot where William Tell shot the apple off his son’s head. We continue our journey to Einsiedeln with its impressive Benedictine Abbey.
Day 6: A magnificent tour visiting four of Switzerland’s alpine passes. The first takes us over the Susten Pass to Wassen and then on to the mountain town of Andermatt. After free time, continue over St Gotthard Pass to Airolo. Return over the Nufenen and Grimsel passes.
Day 7: Day of leisure in Flueli.
Day 8: Start the homeward journey travelling to St Quentin for an overnight stay.
Day 9: After an early breakfast, continue via Eurotunnel, arriving home early evening.
