Itinerary
Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Banbury spending four nights at the Wroxton House Hotel arriving early afternoon.
Day 2: Full day Oxford. We visit the City of the Dreaming Spires, where several of the universities can be visited and the Inspector Morse trail is popular. Also associated with the city is CS Lewis. Oxford has a covered market that is open daily.
Day 3: Day of leisure.
Day 4: Full day Windsor. Enjoy a day in Windsor beside the River Thames, where boat trips are available if you wish. There should also be time for a stroll in Windsor Great Park where the ambitious may want to try The Long Walk to the Castle, also just across the river is the famous school of Eton.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey via Stratford-Upon-Avon arriving late afternoon.
