Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Brighton spending four nights at the Barcelo Old Ship Hotel arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Lewes & Newhaven. Travel over the scenic South Downs to the medieval town of Lewes. The town is dominated by its impressive castle and a stroll away is Anne of Cleves House. We then travel to the coast and the port of Newhaven for a stop before travelling back  along the coast road, with many lovely sea views.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Brighton.
Day 4: Full day Arundel & Chichester. We stop first in Arundel, a historic gem, with a wealth of ancient buildings, a magnificent Castleand imposing Cathedral. We then move on to Chichester with its historic streets, interesting shops and Norman Cathedral.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving early evening.
