Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Ilfracombe spending four nights at the Ilfracombe Carlton Hotel arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Woolacombe and Barnstaple.
A short drive from Ilfracombe is the beautiful resort of Woolacombe, its wide sandy beach stretching for 3 miles one of the best in Britain. North Devon’s main town of Barnstaple offers good shopping and pleasant historic streets.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Ilfracombe
Day 4: Full day Exmoor National Park, Lynton & Lynmouth. We travel through the rolling hills and sleepy villages of the Exmoor National Park “Lorna Doone Country”. After a stop in the seaside resort of Minehead we return along the coast, with spectacular sea views, to Lynton & Lynmouth. The two villages are linked by a Victorian water-driven cliff railway
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
