Lakeside Village though small and compact is a traditional resort and enjoys a village like feel. Enjoying a great location with stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Islands beaches are only a twenty minute walk away.

Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Hayling Island spending four nights at Lakeside Coastal Village arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Full day Historic Portsmouth & Gunwharf Quays. The great maritime city of Portsmouth is an intriguing mix of fascinating history and modern innovations. We’ll visit the modern Gunwharf Quays, an excellent shopping and leisure area incorporating the Spinnaker Tower. Time will be available to go up the tower for spectacular views.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Lakeside
Day 4: Full day Chichester & Bognor Regis. We visit the seaside town of Bognor Regis which claims to be the sunniest town in England! Thursday is market day in the summer months. We then move on to ancient Chichester with its historic  streets, interesting shops and Norman Cathedral.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
