Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Berkshire spending four nights at Littlecote House Hotel arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Full day Avebury & Salisbury Plain. Avebury has the world’s largest stone circle, a fascinating place to stop and wander, with time to visit the Museum if you wish. We then continue through the lovely countryside of the Vale of Pewsey and Salisbury Plain, passing Stonehenge then making a final stop in Devizes.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Littlecote
Day 4: Full day Vale of the White Horse & Oxford. We view the prehistoric white horse cut into the hillside and stop for those who want to make the walk to this and the amazing burial mound of Waylands Smithy. Continue afterwards into Oxford for time to enjoy this lovely university city.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
