Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Southport spending four nights at the Royal Clifton Hotel arriving early afternoon.
Day 2: Full day Liverpool & Albert Dock. Liverpool offers so much to see, particularly around the docks. Albert Dock
is home to interesting shops, several museums (mostly free to visit) and The Beatles Story. Ferry trips are available if you wish on the River Mersey.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Southport
Day 4: Full day Chester, The Wirral & Port Sunlight guided tour. Our local guide will show us the interesting but often missed area between the Mersey and the Dee rivers. It was here that Lord Leverhulme set up his soap factory and built the village of Port Sunlight for his workers. After a visit here we’ll continue to the beautiful walled city of Chester.
Day 5: Depart after lunch for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
