Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Southsea spending four nights at the Royal Beach Hotel arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Day of leisure in Southsea
Day 3: Full day Chichester & Arundel. We stop first in Chichester with its historic streets, interesting shops and Norman Cathedral. We then move on to another historic gem, Arundel with a wealth of ancient buildings, a magnificent Castle and imposing Cathedral. Wednesday is market day in Chichester.
Day 4: Half day Historic Portsmouth guided tour with harbour cruise guided tour. We explore the city of Portsmouth with its proud maritime history, historic and modern quays, and the city where Charles Dickens was born. Conclude the tour with a fascinating harbour cruise.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
