Its sea front and town are situated on the level, offering a wide and varied choice of shops, restaurants and cafés, which are interspersed with many colourful and beautifully kept parks and gardens. Naturally formed, and stretching for miles, the beach at Weston has won numerous awards over the years.

Itinerary

Day 1: Leisurely outward journey to Weston Super Mare spending four nights at The Royal Grosvenor Hotel arriving early afternoon.
Day 2: Full day Cheddar, Wells & Glastonbury. We travel first to Cheddar for a stop at the amazing Gorge, home to famous caves and a Cheddar Cheese maker. Next stop is the stylish city of Wells with its lovely Cathedral, then to the hippy mecca of Glastonbury, full of colourful shops and cafes.
Day 3: Day of leisure in Weston Super Mare
Day 4: Full day Minehead. A pleasant journey over the Quantock Hills to the seaside resort of Minehead. The terminus of the restored West Somerset Railway is in the town where it may be possible to take an optional ride.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey arriving late afternoon.
