Sit back and take in the views as you travel past spectacular mountains and through glens and beautiful landscapes firstly on board the Jacaobite Steam Train as it winds its way along the West Coast of Scotland from Fort William to Mallaig which lies at the end of the “Road to the Isles”.

The hotel is also ideally located close to many of the  areas attractions including the RRS Discovery, the ship used by Captain Scott on his Antarctic Expedition, Dundee Contemporary Arts centre, and Dundee itself. Day 1: Travel to Glasgow and spend one night at the Erskine Bridge Hotel.
Day 2: A lovely morning drive alongside Loch Lomond to Crainlarich, the gateway to the Highlands. Its station is set where the great lines of the highlands fork and enter the mountain terrain. Board the train for a spectacular ride over Rannoch Moor, where no roads go, then via Fort William and the “Road To The Isles” to Mallaig. Rejoin the coach for a scenic crossing to the Isle of Skye and travel on to Kyleakin for two nights.
Day 3: An opportunity to see the scenic beauty of the Isle of Skye together with free time in the Island capital Portree. Day 4: Cross the Skye Bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh to board the train for a second spectacular journey across the Highlands passing beautiful lochs, majestic mountains and
deep valleys, to Inverness. Rejoin the coach to continue the scenic journey across Scotland and travel to Dundee spending two nights at the Landmark Hotel.
Day 5: A leisurely excursion to St Andrews, the famous golf resort and place of education for several members of the Royal Family.
Day 6: Board the train for the third of our train journeys, crossing two mighty rivers, the Tay and the Forth, on spectacular railway bridges. Travel into the heart of Edinburgh for an afternoon visit. Board the coach and leave the city for an overnight stay at the Richmond Park Hotel.
Day 7: Homeward journey.
