This colourful and exciting performance features breathtaking displays by marching bands in the dramatic setting of the floodlit Castle Esplanade.

Nestled in beautiful secluded parkland the main hotel is entered through a converted stable block in a pretty courtyard adjacent to the original 14th Century Castle which was once owned by Robert the Bruce. All rooms have private facilities and are equipped with television, telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and complimentary tea/coffee. A full Scottish breakfast together with waiter served evening meal with choice of dinner menu is included during your stay and the hotel offers a lift to all floors, indoor pool / leisure facilities and porterage.

Itinerary

Day 1: Outward journey to Airth and spend 4 nights at the Airth Castle Hotel.

Day 2: A scenic drive through the Trossachs by way of Aberfoyle and Brig o’ Turk and then descend to the town of Callander. Return in the afternoon via Doune to Airth.

Day 3: A later start for the visit to Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh. There is an abundance of interesting places to visit in the city including the castle, Holyroodhouse, the Royal Mile, Princes Street, the list is endless. In the evening meet the coach for transportation to the Edinburgh Tattoo performance to complete a memorable day. (Seats have been arranged in stands 3, 4, 13 or 14)

Day 4: A shorter excursion takes us to the city of Stirling with its impressive castle and old town. Nearby is the National Wallace Monument built in honour of the scottish hero William Wallace.

Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the homeward journey.
