Loch Lomond, Invernesshire and Gulf Stream Gardens
A spectacular combined road and rail journey around Scotland from Loch Lomond in the southwest as far as the “Gulf Stream Coast” of Scotland’s Northern Highlands. This tour includes one of the most renowned train journeys in the world from Tyndrum to Fort William via Glencoe and also incorporates Black Isle, Moray Firth, Torridon, Gairloch, Ullapool, Inverewe and Stirling.

The following itinerary:
Monday: Travel north for our first night in Fort William.
Tuesday: Catch the morning train from Fort William to the fishing town of Mallaig passing some wonderful scenery to the small Isles of Rhum, Eigg and Muck, the legendary White Sands of Morar and the majestic Glenfinnan Viaduct. At Mallaig, meet the coach again and take the short ferry journey over to Armadale on the Isle of Skye, making a visit to Dunvegan Castle, royal seat of MacDonald. Continue to Portree via the Cuillin Hills before crossing back to themainland by the Skye Bridge and on to the Drumnadrochit Hotel for 2 nights.
Wednesday: A leisurely day with time to visit the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition and an optional cruise on the Loch from Urquhart Castle to Inverness with the afternoon free to explore the vibrant City.
Thursday: Journey south by leisurely morning train from Inverness to Perth via Aviemore and the Grampian Mountains, Dalwinne and the scenic towns of Blair Atholl, Pitlochry and Dunkeld with an afternoon free to explore Perth
Friday: Homeward journey
