Sunday: Arrive at the Salutation hotel in the picturesque town of Perth for one night, with time for a stroll around the
town before dinner.

Monday: Today we head north to Thurso for one night at the Royal Hotel with a possible visit to Dunrobin Castle en route.

Tuesday: Depart Scrabster near Thurso for the early afternoon sailing past Britain’s highest cliffs including the Old Man of Hoy. Arrive at Stromness on Orkney mid-afternoon where you meet your local guide to visit the World Heritage Sites of Skara Brae, Stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, Skiall House, Churchill Carriers, Italian Chapel and Scapa Flow. On this evening, dinner will be served in a local restaurant before returning to the luxury of your cabin for an overnight crossing to Shetland.

Wednesday: Arrive Lerwick on Shetland and after breakfast on board, depart for a tour of this fascinating island with your local guide to visit Jarlshof in the south, Scalloway Castle & Museum, as well as Shetland’s famous ponies.

Thursday: Arrive Aberdeen and after a hearty full Scottish breakfast on board, disembark and travel south, taking the scenic coast road via Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath, Carnoustie and Dundee, then onto the last night of our tour in Anstruther, a small coastal town set in one of the scenic Royal Burghs in the East Neuk of the attractive Kingdom of Fife. Arrive at Craws Nest Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Friday: Homeward journey.
