The Black Forest, famous for its cuckoo clocks, is deeply rooted in its traditional culture and is an area of mountains and forest which borders France in thewest, Switzerland in the south, Lake Constance in the east, and the Kraichgau region in the north. A visit to the Black Forest takes you through forests of fir and pine and a number of impressive ruins dating backmany centuries.

Baden-Baden: A full day excursion to Baden-Baden, travelling via the health resort of Freudenstadt before following the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to the elegant resort of Baden-Baden.

Triberg, Lake Titisee and Donaueschingen: A full day crossing the Black Forest to the popular health resort of Triberg famous for its dramatic waterfalls. The journey continues to Lake Titisee via the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse and on to Donaueschingen, the Donauequelle is located here and it is the originating point of the Danube.
