Auckland Hotel - Morecambe, the Lake District & Yorkshire Dales

Morecambe has grown into one of the most beautiful and popular
holiday resorts in the north west, with all the charm of a traditional seaside town. The flat promenade, with innovative sculptures, including the famous Eric Morecambe statue, spans approximately four miles offering calming, scenic views across the bay to the Lake District. The steps of Dame Thora Hird can also be traced in a guided walk.

Yorkshire Dales: A full day excursion to the ‘Dales’, travelling via Ingleton and through the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The journey continues to Hawes before returning to Morecambe via Sedbergh and Kirby Lonsdale.

The Lake District: A full day tour of the Lake District, firstly visiting Bowness on Windermere, an attractive location and popular venue for relaxing. We continue via Windermere and
Ambleside to Grasmere where there will be further time available for sightseeing before returning to Morecambe.

The Auckland Hotel is situated on the sea front on the Central Promenade offering spectacular views of the bay and the Lakeland hills behind. It is ideally situated, being within easy reach of all main amenities and the shopping centre.
