Royal Marine Hotel - Scotland, Dunoon, Oban and the Kyles of Bute
Dunoon is one of Scotland’s most popular resorts located in a delightful setting on the Firth of Clyde, where the entrances to Holy Loch and Loch Long converge. It has one of the best scenic locations in Britain and offers a real taste of the Highlands, whilst its excellent position makes it the perfect base from which to explore Scotland’s scenic west coast.
Includes three excursions and FREE insurance
Oban and Inverary:
An excursion to the popular resort of Oban, the capital of North Argyll, travelling through the Pass of Brander. The road into Oban gives views across the Firth of Lorn to the Island of Mull. On the return journey a stop will be made at Inverary, situated on Loch Fyne.
Rothesay and the Kyles of Bute:
Journey through the Glendaruel Forest to Tighnabruaich for a superb view of the Kyles of Bute. Take the short ferry journey on to the Island of Bute and continue to Rothesay, the principal town. Rothesay Castle is one of the best surviving medieval castles in Scotland. Return to Dunoon via the Cowal peninsula.
Benmore Botanical Gardens:
A shorter excursion around the Argyll Forest Park taking in Holy Loch and Loch Long with a visit to the Benmore Botanical Gardens (admission included).
