2010 Heart of England - Stratford and Rutland
%imagedesc1%
The beautiful and historic town of Market Bosworth is remembered chiefly for its association with the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, where Richard III lost his throne to Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond. The pleasant town, with its pretty thatched cottages, contains many fine Georgian buildings together with several specialist shops and galleries and makes an ideal base for exploring The Heart of England and Stratford.
